Makes 3 cups
Ingredients:
2 T Lemon juice
½ cup Brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 T corn starch
1/8 tsp nutmeg
½ tsp vanilla
½ cup sugar
2 cups apple cider (or juice—it’s more mild, but it works)
¼ cup butter
In a 4 quart sauce pan melt butter. Dissolve the corn starch
in to the apple cider before adding. Once dissolved, add all the ingredients to
the sauce pan and cook on medium heat until it comes to a rolling boil. Boil
for 5 minutes and then serve warm or store in an air tight container in the
fridge for up to two weeks.
